Terms of service
Draft — pending legal review
This is a plain-English draft that accurately describes how the service is provided today. It has not yet been through final legal review. The definitive terms will be reviewed and confirmed before A2Z Workshop is offered to the public.
1. Who we are
A2Z Workshop ("the service") is provided by A2Z IT Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom. By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. The service
A2Z Workshop helps UK garages, tyre shops and MOT centres send automatic MOT, service and tyre reminders to their customers by SMS and email, and keep customer and vehicle records. Features depend on your plan.
3. Free trial
New accounts include a 90-day free trial, capped at 100 SMS, with no card required up front. At the end of the trial you can choose a paid plan to continue.
4. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly: Starter at £35/month and Pro at £60/month (prices exclude VAT). Each plan includes a monthly SMS allowance; additional messages are charged at £6 per 100 SMS. There is no setup fee and no annual contract — you can cancel at any time. Exact billing terms are confirmed when you start a paid plan.
5. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the customer and vehicle data you add, and for having a proper basis to contact those customers.
- Marketing messages may only be sent to customers who have opted in. Service reminders must relate to a genuine customer relationship.
- You must not use the service to send unlawful, misleading or abusive messages, or to contact people who have opted out.
- You are responsible for keeping your account login secure.
6. Messaging
Text messages are standard GSM-7 SMS. Every message includes a way to opt out, and a customer who replies STOP is opted out of further messages. We may suspend sending if we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and reminders depend on third parties such as mobile networks and the DVLA.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability is limited as set out in the final reviewed terms. The service is a reminder tool and does not replace your own responsibility to your customers.
9. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms. On closure, data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
